A globally recognized manufacturer of slitter rewinders for the paper, film and foil converting industry, Goebel Schneid- und Wickelsysteme GmbH, participated on the Drupa Trade Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany. Goebel had their slitter rewinder of the GOEBEL MPW300 series at their stand and the company selected Corenso's cores to be able to demonstrate the high rate of automation and reliability of their machine.

Goebel representative Marketing Referent Andreas Albers describes the success of Drupa Trade Fair in the following:
"This machine stands out due to its high rate of automation. Especially the use of three rewind shafts allows to minimize the machine’s downtime. One of the rewind shafts is employed for winding, one for finished roll unloading and one for new core loading. These functions are executed simultaneously and fully automatically.

To ensure the smooth sequence of the fully automatic winding cycle the cores should be of close tolerances. Cores manufactured by Corenso proved their worth on Goebel machines. So we decided to load the machine exhibited at the trade fair with Corenso's 3“ ECO-cores.

The trouble-free use of these cores at the fair showed that we made the best choice."
