Corenso Elfes’ core plant in Krefeld, Germany, has achieved BRC/IoP Packaging Standard certification, a global benchmark of hygiene standards for the food packaging sector.

Corenso Elfes continuously develops its processes in order to ensure ever higher levels of service for its customers. The latest acknowledgement of this work is the award of BRC/IoP certification, which means that Corenso Elfes’ operations are now fully in compliance with the strict requirements set for the food packaging sector. The certification will enable the Krefeld core plant to better fulfil the special requirements that plastic film and flexible packaging producers have regarding hygiene and the cleanliness of cores.

Corenso Elfes manufactures high-quality cores and tubes in a wide range of core grades and diameters, as well as edge protectors. Corenso Elfes has two production plants in Germany, in Krefeld and Jülich, both of which are now BRC/IoP certified.
